Registered Nurse (RN) – Inpatient Surgical Unit

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our fast-paced Inpatient Surgical Unit. This is an exciting opportunity to care for a diverse surgical patient population while working alongside an interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
About The Role
As an RN on our Inpatient Surgical Unit, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients recovering from a variety of surgical procedures. This dynamic environment requires strong clinical judgment, effective prioritization skills, and a commitment to excellence in patient outcomes. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, hospitalists, therapists, case managers, and fellow nursing professionals to support patients throughout their surgical recovery journey.

Responsibilities• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients recovering from surgical procedures in an inpatient unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with a focus on safety and quality outcomes.
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, manage drains and lines, and coordinate post-operative care with the interprofessional team.
• Collaborate with surgeons, hospitalists, therapists, case managers, and other nursing staff to support patients throughout recovery.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families, ensuring education and discharge planning are addressed.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including patient safety and infection control standards.
Qualifications- Education:
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing - Experience:
1+ years’ experience - Licenses/Certifications:
Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
