Responsibilities & Skills
Key Responsibilities
- ATE Test Program Development:
Design, debug, and maintain complex test programs for production, characterization, and qualification on Advantest T2000 and Teradyne Ultra Flex platforms. - Vector Processing and Conversion:
Convert design patterns into tester-compatible formats and validate execution across environments. - Hardware Expertise:
Define and drive loadboard, socket, and handler requirements; collaborate with PCB designers and vendors to ensure signal integrity and power distribution. - Silicon Characterization:
Execute validation across PVT corners; analyze results to improve yield and performance. - Optimization:
Reduce test time and optimize flows for cost efficiency without compromising quality. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with DFT, design, and product engineering teams to define requirements and close coverage gaps. - Production Support:
Partner with global manufacturing teams to release test programs and support high-volume ramps; address test escapes and yield excursions.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree + 8+ years related experience, or Master’s Degree + 6+ years related experience
Skills/Experiences
- Deep hands-on experience with Advantest T2000 and Teradyne Ultra Flex testers (or equivalent).
- Proven ability to develop and optimize ATE test programs for FPGA devices with high-speed Ser Des.
- Strong knowledge of loadboard/probecard design, socket selection, and handler integration.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and scripting for test development.
- Expertise in vector conversion and pattern processing.
- Ability to analyze large datesets, correlate failures, and drive yield improvements.
- Experience with extreme temperature testing and characterization on ATE.
