This is a true hunter role
— not an account management position. We are looking for a high-energy sales professional to build a territory from the ground up in the Oregon, Washington, and Idaho area, driving new business, opening doors, and creating pipeline for industrial waste and recycling equipment opportunities. You will focus on getting in front of customers, identifying needs, and uncovering projects across manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and industrial facilities.

Success in this role is defined by activity, pipeline creation, and speed. If you thrive on prospecting, momentum, and winning new business, this role is built for you!

What You’ll Do
  • Prospect aggressively to generate new business across your territory
  • Set appointments and get in front of plant managers, operations leaders, and decision-makers
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities
  • Build and develop a territory from scratch
  • Maintain high activity levels (calls, visits, outreach) with responsiveness
  • Create and manage a strong pipeline of new opportunities
  • Partner with internal teams to transition qualified opportunities into full sales cycles
What We’re Looking For Must-Have Experience
  • 3–7+ years of outside sales experience in waste and recycling equipment
  • Proven track record of:
    • Opening doors and generating new business
    • Building pipeline from zero or low base
Preferred Industry Background
  • Material handling equipment
  • Compactors, balers, shredders, and separation systems
  • Cranes, pumps, or hydraulics
  • Motors, controls, or industrial components
