We are looking for an HVAC Comfort Consultant to join our team and help homeowners identify the right heating, cooling, and indoor comfort solutions for their homes. This is an ideal opportunity for an in-home sales professional who enjoys building relationships, understanding customer needs, and guiding customers through important purchasing decisions.

As a Comfort Consultant, you will meet with homeowners in their homes to evaluate their comfort needs, discuss available HVAC solutions, and provide clear recommendations and estimates. You will guide customers through the decision-making process while maintaining a consultative, professional approach.

Your ability to listen, educate, build trust, and follow through will be critical to your success in this role.

• Meet with homeowners for scheduled in-home HVAC sales appointments
• Evaluate customer comfort concerns, system needs, priorities, and budget considerations
• Recommend appropriate heating, cooling, indoor air quality, and comfort solutions
• Present replacement options, equipment recommendations, pricing, financing, and available upgrades
• Clearly explain the benefits and differences between system options
• Build trust with homeowners through professional, consultative communication
• Prepare accurate proposals and sales documentation
• Follow up with prospective customers and maintain consistent communication throughout the sales process
• Coordinate with installation and operations teams to ensure accurate project handoff
• Maintain accurate customer records, appointment notes, proposals, and sales activity
• Stay current on HVAC products, promotions, financing programs, and industry trends
• Achieve established sales, closing, and revenue goals while maintaining a strong customer experience
• Represent Terry's Heating and Air Conditioning professionally in customers' homes and throughout the community

• Previous in-home sales and or sale preferred
• Proven ability to build rapport and establish trust with homeowners
• Strong consultative selling and closing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to explain technical information in a clear, customer-friendly manner
• Comfortable discussing pricing, financing, and multiple solution options
• Strong follow-up, organization, and time management skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage appointments and sales opportunities independently
• Professional appearance and customer-focused approach
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable insurable driving record
• Ability to learn HVAC equipment, terminology, and comfort solutions
