Ready Mix Loader/Operator
Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled individual for the position of Ready Mix Loader/Operator. This role involves the safe and efficient operation of various types of construction equipment including loaders, backhoes, trackhoes, haul trucks, water trucks, etc. Key responsibilities include operating equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring proper barricading and safe slopes on excavations, locating utilities and buried lines prior to digging, performing minor servicing and maintenance, and adhering to trenching and shoring standards.
Qualifications for this position include a high school diploma or GED, previous heavy equipment operation experience or training, and the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. A valid driver's license is preferred. Key competencies include customer service, teamwork, judgment, planning/organizing, professionalism, safety and security, adaptability, attendance/punctuality, dependability, initiative, innovation, and quality.
The physical demands of this job include sitting, climbing, using hands to signal and handle equipment, standing, walking, crawling, kneeling, bending, and reaching with hands and arms above shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50-75 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception. The work environment involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, vibration, high, precarious places, risk of electrical shock, and loud noise.
