What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)- Bring Plans to Life: Accurately read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and project plans to execute builds flawlessly.
- Master the Craft: Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks, spanning from heavy framing and specialized log home construction to intricate finish and trim work.
- Precision & Execution: Measure, cut, and assemble materials with high accuracy while maintaining general building and maintenance standards.
- Safety First: Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate for Success: Work hand-in-hand with a driven crew to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest industry standards.
- Communication: Fluent English speaking and communication skills to ensure seamless on-site safety and team collaboration.
- Experience: Ideally 5+ years of previous experience in carpentry or framing.
- Technical Skill: Solid proficiency in blueprint reading, construction plans, and a deep knowledge of various carpentry techniques (including finish/trim work).
- An Eye for Excellence: A strong attention to detail and an unyielding commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Physical Stamina: The ability to lift heavy objects and comfortably handle the physically demanding, rewarding nature of job-site work.
- Reliability: A valid driver's license and dependable transportation to get you to the site ready to build.
