Position:
Lead Commercial HVAC Installer
Work Hours:
6:00 AM start time, one-hour lunch, overtime as needed
What You Will Be Doing:
Lead and oversee commercial HVAC installation projects from start to finish
Direct and mentor install crew members on job sites
Install commercial heating and air conditioning systems
Install gas piping and refrigeration piping
Ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
Test, balance, and commission systems
Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades
Ensure compliance with all applicable mechanical, electrical, and safety codes
Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate progress/issues
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience preferred
Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred
Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, ductwork, and installation
Proficient with refrigerant systems, gas systems, and electrical components
Solid understanding of low-voltage HVAC systems
High level of safety awareness and jobsite leadership
Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and make sound field decisions
Strong communication skills with team members and customers
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
Candidates must pass a background check and drug test upon receiving a conditional offer of employment.
