As a Residential HVAC Installation Technician, you will install complete heating and cooling systems for residential and light commercial customers. You will ensure every installation meets company standards while maintaining a clean job site, communicating professionally with customers, and working safely throughout every project.

• Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini split systems, and indoor air quality products
• Install duct systems, refrigerant piping, gas lines, venting, condensate drains, and electrical connections
• Complete equipment replacements, retrofit projects, and new construction installations
• Perform equipment startup, refrigerant charging, operational testing, and final commissioning
• Read blueprints, installation drawings, and manufacturer instructions
• Verify proper airflow, equipment performance, and overall system operation
• Ensure every installation complies with local codes, manufacturer requirements, and company quality standards
• Maintain organized company vehicles, tools, and job sites
• Communicate effectively with homeowners, builders, supervisors, and fellow technicians
• Assist with training and supporting less experienced installation team members when needed
• Follow company safety procedures on every project

• Two or more years of residential HVAC installation experience preferred
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Strong understanding of residential HVAC installation methods
• Experience installing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini split systems, and indoor air quality equipment
• Knowledge of duct construction, refrigeration piping, gas piping, electrical systems, and low-voltage controls
• Ability to troubleshoot installation concerns and verify proper system performance
• Ability to interpret blueprints, installation layouts, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• EPA Certification is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to safely lift equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and outdoor weather conditions
