We're looking for a motivated Sheet Metal Assistant to join our fabrication team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning a skilled trade, and building a long-term career in the HVAC industry. No previous sheet metal experience is required. We'll provide the training and support needed to help you develop into a skilled HVAC Sheet Metal Fabricator.

As a Sheet Metal Assistant, you'll work alongside experienced fabricators to help build custom ductwork and HVAC components used in residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. You'll receive hands-on training while learning fabrication techniques, shop safety, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with fabricating residential and light commercial HVAC ductwork
• Measure, cut, assemble, and prepare sheet metal components under the guidance of experienced fabricators
• Load, unload, organize, and stage materials for fabrication and installation crews
• Learn to safely operate sheet metal fabrication equipment and hand tools
• Assist with assembling fittings, plenums, transitions, and other duct components
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Help maintain fabrication equipment and shop inventory
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
• Support fabrication and installation teams as needed
• Participate in ongoing training to develop fabrication skills and HVAC knowledge

• Mechanical aptitude and interest in learning a skilled trade
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
• Comfortable using hand tools or willing to learn
• Ability to lift materials and work in a fabrication shop environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced team members
