Job Summary:The Accountant/Accounting Analyst is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting functions, including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, assisting with month-end close, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This role is a in office Monday
- Friday position and is an ideal role for someone who enjoys both detailed accounting work and solving business/process issues. This role reports to the Director of Finance.
- Process stock purchases and maintain accurate purchasing records.
- Perform inventory reconciliations and month-end GL account reconciliations.
- Serve as 360 Client Finance Lead, providing financial support and reporting for client accounts.
- Support and process Manual Orders as needed.
- Learn and apply Sales Order Processing and Compliance procedures.
- Other accounting-related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
- 2-4 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Experience in Salesforce
- Familiarity with Month-End and Year-End Close Procedures
- Bank and General Ledger Reconciliation Experience
- Analytical Skills — ability to identify errors, trends, and variances
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills — for internal reporting and cross-team collaboration
- Time Management & Organizational Skills — ability to handle multiple deadlines
- Attention to Detail — accurate data entry and error-checking
- Problem-Solving Skills — proactive identification and resolution of accounting issues
- Adaptability — comfort with a fast-paced, evolving business environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.
The physical demand described is representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This role is required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk and use hands to finger.
Must be able to lift up to 35lbs.
