Position: Customer Care Advocate I, 1st Shift

Customer Care Advocate I

Rexnord is a global industrial company. The Customer Care Advocate I will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment as the primary interface between internal and external customers. The role maintains customer satisfaction by addressing commercial issues such as inquiries, order processing, quotes, bid tracking, RMA, billing, and ensuring adherence to company policies. This position is located in Twinsburg, OH.

Key Accountabilities
  • Manage assigned key accounts and market segment activity including order, quotation, business development, conflict resolution, order entry, Voice of the Customer, pricing to value, contract and account program administration, and production readiness reviews.
  • Interact with customers to address and resolve inquiries and complaints regarding products, services, billing, etc., maintaining customer goodwill.
  • Actively manage customer orders across the entire life cycle.
  • Maintain accurate customer contact base and critical communication files for assigned accounts.
  • Handle calls efficiently and professionally; provide first-call resolution and create loyal customers through superior service.
  • Collaborate with intercompany departments—Purchasing, Manufacturing, Shipping, Scheduling, and Engineering.
  • Accept and process sales orders in a timely manner; verify accuracy.
  • Meet or exceed customer satisfaction goals.
  • Develop a high level of understanding of the ERP system.
  • Maintain a high knowledge base on the company’s products and applications.
Job Requirements
  • U.S. person with U.S. permanent residence (citizen or green card holder).
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years of customer interface or expeditor experience within engineered products preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic internet searching.
  • Customer focused, self-starter, creative thinker.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prepare reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Other duties and assignments as needed.
