Summary: The Test Technician will coordinate and test new production and MRO UUTs. Responsibilities include testing aerospace electronic control units and rotating machines, with possible board level testing of production subassemblies. The role adheres to FAA safety guidelines.
Job Location: Twinsburg, Ohio – Onsite
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Coordinate and perform tests at the quality control stage of the manufacturing process.
- Gather and study information regarding materials and components to be used in production.
- Test new products and record data for presentation to final inspection.
- Study the data gathered during testing and evaluate the validity of the results.
- Continue testing and analysis until results are within product requirements and specifications.
- Complete testing data sheets to present final results with completed units.
- Assist with environmental testing as needed for MRO and production units.
- Set up test equipment and fixtures to perform tests.
- Work with product design engineers to develop test methods that meet specification performance requirements.
- Write clear and complete test reports.
- Adhere to safe work practices and contribute to the health, safety, and environmental program.
- Travel requirements:
Occasional travel (once per quarter) within the U.S. or outside the U.S. - Other duties may be assigned.
- Evening/night hours may be required.
- Extra hours may be required during business peaks.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent, or
- At least two (2) years of related work experience.
- In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an Associate's degree in Engineering or equivalent and at least one (1) year of related work experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to discuss product flaws constructively.
- Technical writing proficiency preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software for preparing test reports and proposals.

Physical Demands- May require long periods of sitting.
- May require lifting less than 20 lbs.
- May require prolonged repetitive use of upper extremities.
The work environment is a typical office setting requiring the use of office equipment such as computers and phones. Computer keyboarding and monitor use are common, requiring typical office ergonomics.
