As a Test Technician, you ll be responsible for coordinating and testing of new production and MRO UUTs (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul Unit Under Test). You will be responsible for testing aerospace electronic control units as well as rotating machines within the scope of Engineering that needs to be completed. Additionally, you may be responsible for board level testing of production subassemblies.
- Coordinates and performs tests at the quality control stage of the manufacturing process.
- Gathers and studies information regarding materials and components to be used in production.
- Tests new products and records data for presentation to final inspection.
- Studies the data gathered during testing and evaluates the validity of the results.
- Continues testing and analysis until results are within product requirements and specifications.
- Completes testing data sheets to present final results with completed units.
- Assist with performing environmental testing as needed for MRO and production units.
- Set up test equipment and fixtures to perform tests
- Work with product design engineers to develop test methods to assure that specification performance requirements are met.
- Write clear and complete test reports.
- Adhere to safe work practices and contribute to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture;
Travel requirements:
Occasional travel (general guideline: once per quarter) within U.S/Outside U.S.Other duties may be assigned.

- Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or equivalent OR Associate s degree in Engineering and 1 additional year of related work experience
- 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, testing, electronics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) or related software to prepare test reports and porposals
- Strong Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to discuss product flaws in a constructive and positive manner.
- Written skills, particularly in the area of technical writing, are preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be a U.S. person under ITAR regulations
