E-Commerce Pricing and Product Data Specialist

DF Supply, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented, Excel-proficient e-commerce content specialist to manage pricing, product data, and lifecycle accuracy across an extensive portfolio of manufacturers and an expanding network of over 40 e-commerce websites. Our product catalog includes fencing, gate automation, access control devices, fence and gate accessories, tools, agricultural supplies, and more.

This role goes beyond routine pricing updates. The ideal candidate will take ownership of product accuracy from creation through discontinuation. This includes adding new products with complete and well-structured information, optimizing listings for SEO, and ensuring discontinued products are handled carefully and correctly.
Accuracy, consistency, and process discipline are critical, as product data impacts inventory, quoting, ordering, and customer trust.

You will regularly work with vendor price lists, internal enterprise systems, PDFs, images, and content management systems to ensure our listings reflect the most accurate information available. This role requires strong judgment and follow-through, particularly when discontinuing products, including scoping their impact on open orders or quotes and checking inventory status before making changes.

Strong communication skills are essential. This position requires direct coordination with Sales and Customer Service teams and proactive communication with vendors. You will be expected to question incomplete or unclear vendor data,
push back when pricing or product details are missing, and follow up until accurate information is provided.

This role combines independent, detail-focused work with collaborative problem-solving in a fast-paced e-commerce environment. It is well-suited for someone who enjoys owning processes, improving data quality, and being trusted to make careful, informed decisions.

• Update and maintain product pricing using Excel and internal enterprise systems
• Add new products with all available and discoverable information, including descriptions, images, and supporting documents
• Optimize product listings for clarity, structure, and SEO using basic HTML
• Review and resolve pricing discrepancies between systems and vendor price lists
• Manage product discontinuations with care, including replacement validation, inventory checks, and impact on open orders or quotes
• Communicate with vendors to obtain missing pricing or product details and challenge incomplete or inconsistent information
• Collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Service to resolve product and pricing questions

• Strong proficiency in Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and managing large data sets
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Demonstrated interest in problem-solving and process improvement
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Basic understanding of HTML
• Experience handling and editing PDFs and images
• Clear, professional written communication via email and chat

• Experience with content management systems such as xTuple or Magento
• Interest in SEO and e-commerce optimization
• Familiarity with technical or manufacturer product documentation
