The workstation and network support specialist ensures operation and continuity of IT devices related to computer equipment, network and telephony by meeting service level agreements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provides Proximity support to end users.
- Solving, analyzing and updating tickets for effective ticket resolution and reporting.
- Resolve incidents and requests per Service Level Agreements.
- Meets monthly targets for Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Updates and manages knowledge database.
- Mantains computers inventory up to date.
- Onsite support for wired and wireless configuration.
- Ensure Safran standards related to software baseline and hardware are applied.
- Responsible for managing device configuration (laptops, workstations, printers, etc.), also providing preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Phone system management.
- Communicates clearly in both verbal and written correspondence.
- Follow up with end users and the business on problem resolution.
- Works with Level 3 of support to conduct tests and evaluate different alternatives.
- Interfaces with suppliers to maintain desired functionality, performance and availability in LAN Network.
- Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Education and Experience- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Related Field with Five (5) years' of IT/IS experience or 9 years' of IT/IS experience

Physical Demands: This position requires sitting and performing computer work for extended periods, moving computers from the production area to the IS office for repair, performing network cabling when needed, lifting up to 35 lbs independently, and bending or squatting to reach IT equipment above or below a desk.
Work Environment: Office setting with moderate noise.
