The workstation and network support specialist ensures operation and continuity of IT devices related to computer equipment, network, and telephony by meeting service level agreements.

• Provides proximity support to end users.
• Solves, analyzes, and updates tickets for effective ticket resolution and reporting.
• Resolves incidents and requests per Service Level Agreements.
• Meets monthly targets for key performance indicators (KPI).
• Updates and manages knowledge database.
• Maintains computer inventory up to date.
• Provides onsite support for wired and wireless configuration.
• Ensures Safran standards related to software baseline and hardware are applied.
• Manages device configuration (laptops, workstations, printers, etc.) and provides preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Manages phone system.
• Communicates clearly in both verbal and written correspondence.
• Follows up with end users and the business on problem resolution.
• Works with Level 3 support to conduct tests and evaluate different alternatives.
• Interfaces with suppliers to maintain desired functionality, performance and availability in LAN network.
• Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with five (5) years of IT/IS experience or nine (9) years of IT/IS experience.

• Advanced negotiation.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Advanced troubleshooting.
• Advanced Windows operating systems.
• Computer spare parts replacement.
• Network basic troubleshooting.
• Computer imaging.
• Ticketing system.

• CompTIA A+ (preferred).
• CompTIA Network+ (preferred).
• CompTIA Security+ (preferred).
• ITIL Foundations (preferred).

• Performs computer work for extended periods of time.
• Moves computers from production area to IS office for repair.
• Performs network cabling when needed.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs on one's own.
• Can bend or squat to reach IT equipment above or below desk.

The work environment is an office setting with moderate office noise.
