Innovation Foods is hiring a Food Production and Supply Coordinator for a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with afternoons and weekends off
. This exempt, professional role is a great fit for someone with experience in food operations, purchasing or inventory management, vendor coordination, and team leadership who wants stability, ownership, and predictable hours.
You’ll play a key role in daily food production while independently managing purchasing, supply coordination, labeling accuracy, and overseeing morning operations across multiple food programs.

- Oversee daily production startup and ensure operations are ready to run smoothly
- Coordinate and direct production staff during the morning shift
- Manage food and packaging purchasing, including vendor coordination, inventory planning, substitutions, and cost control
- Place and manage purchase orders and proactively prevent shortages
- Work with vendors on pricing, availability, and lead times
- Ensure all products are accurately labeled (ingredients, allergens, nutrition, dates, traceability)
- Support USDA program compliance and audit readiness
- Experience supporting food production, kitchens, or food service operations
- Experience managing ordering, purchasing, inventory, or supply coordination
- Supervising staff or overseeing daily workflows
- Working with vendors, suppliers, or distributors
- Operating in fast-paced environments where timing and accuracy matter
- Experience in food operations, food service, manufacturing, or similar environments
- Supervisory or management experience in an operational setting
- Purchasing, procurement, or inventory management experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to make sound decisions and manage priorities independently
- Comfortable starting the workday at 5:30 AM
- USDA meal program experience (NSLP, CACFP) a plus, not required
- $55,000 – $65,000 salaried (exempt)
- Paid weekly
- Monday–Friday only
- 8-hour workday expectation; end time may vary based on operational needs
- Experience in food operations, food service, manufacturing, or similar environments
- Supervisory or management experience in an operational setting
- Purchasing, procurement, or inventory management experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to make sound decisions and manage priorities independently
- Comfortable starting the workday at 5:30 AM
