- Day – M‑TH, 6am‑4:30pm
- Night – M‑W, 4pm‑4:30am
Entry‑level position responsible for operating a single machine post‑setup and performing basic tasks under supervision. Produce machined products in accordance with required quality, safety, customer specifications, and production schedules.
Essential Functions- Operate single machine after setup is completed
- Perform basic tasks such as loading/unloading parts and monitoring machine operation
- Assist with tool changes and basic maintenance
- Follow job order specifications and safety guidelines
- Comply with all company safety requirements and perform 5S and safety checks
- Perform basic quality checks using gauges and visual inspection
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Report equipment malfunctions and quality issues to supervisor
- Basic understanding of machine operation
- Ability to read and follow job specifications
- Attention to detail and safety awareness
- Knowledge of inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify part conformance
- Basic shop math
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Awareness of ISO 9001 / AS 9100 standard and procedures
- Exposure to machine oil and fluids
- Manufacturing/shop environment with large power equipment
- Lifting/moving objects up to 50 pounds
- Standing/walking for extended periods
- Working with and around sharp metal chips and tooling
- High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Some technical school education preferred but not required
- Ability to pass a physical and/or vision test as required
- No experience necessary
- 6+ months of machining experience preferred
