Machine Operator; Night Shifts

Worthington Samuel Coil Processing (WSCP), a joint venture of Worthington Steel, is hiring Machine Operators to join our production team in Twinsburg, OH, with opportunities available on both day and night shifts. In this hands‑on role, you will support production by loading materials, positioning work, setting up jobs, operating and adjusting machinery, and packaging finished products. Employees work a non‑rotating 12‑hour shift, following a 2‑2‑3 bi‑weekly pattern.

We have on the job training, no prior steel experience required.

• Perform one of multiple roles, including operating exit, entry and set‑up tasks to ensure ongoing machine operation.
• Package, weigh, and load/unload material, and stage material
• Perform miscellaneous tasks throughout plant to ensure safe, efficient and quality production of materials

• Ability to perform repetitive, physically demanding work; stand up to 12 hours; maintain full mobility and manual dexterity in a non‑climate‑controlled environment (heat/cold exposure); lift up to 50lbs.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to retain and apply instructions.
• Demonstrated reliability with strong attendance record
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to operate banding tools and read a tape measure
• Recognize and detect quality issues
• Read and comprehend detailed instructions in English
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Sense of urgency; desire to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Able to work 24/7 schedule, including weekend and holidays

The facility operates on a 24/7 schedule. This position requires working a non‑rotating 12‑hour shift schedule. Employees will work 6 AM to 6 PM or 6 PM to 6 AM, following a 2‑2‑3 bi‑weekly pattern.
