Schedule:
1st Shift, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.What your day looks like
You’ll start your shift reviewing work orders and preparing the exact raw materials and packaging you’ll need. You’ll move materials to the correct production area, note start and finish times, and call out anything that looks off-spec. From there, you’ll operate processing equipment according to established procedures, keeping a close eye on run rates to keep production flowing smoothly.
As batches are completed, you’ll run initial tests and release products that meet specifications. You’ll verify labels and packaging, ensure everything is identified correctly, and package the finished goods to H.B. Fuller quality standards. Throughout the day, you’ll maintain a safe, clean work area and follow all company and legal EHS rules. You’ll report to the Production Manager/Supervisor and help with other tasks as needed.
Core responsibilities
Stage and prepare raw materials/packaging; record start/finish times and report variances.
Operate production equipment per process instructions and SOPs.Monitor equipment to sustain target run rates.
Conduct initial testing to confirm product meets specifications before release.
Inspect labels and packaging materials; apply labels accurately per guidelines.
Package finished products to H.B. Fuller quality requirements.
Comply with all Quality Standards, Operating Procedures, and EHS rules.
Maintain housekeeping within assigned area.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Production Manager/Supervisor.
Qualifications Minimum High school diploma or GED (or basic educational degree).Comfort with common software (e.g., MS Office).Ability to read and follow work orders, processes, safety rules, and quality procedures.
Willing and able to work shifts.
Preferred1+ year experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
Understanding of basic English.
Physical demands & environment
Stand for extended periods; walk and climb stairs.
Use hands to lift and move boxes; reach overhead; stoop and bend.
Regularly lift up to 50 lbs; up to 100 lbs with assistance.
Work in a normal chemical manufacturing environment with typical temperature, dust, odor, and noise levels.
Compensation & benefits
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. The salary for this role is $ addition to your salary, H.B.
