3rd Shift CNC Operator

Job Description

Job Function

• Operates computerized lathes and machining centers.

Essential Functions

• Follow prescribed Safety Regulations and immediately report any unsafe conditions to the Safety Coordinator.
• Ability to follow instructions, read and understand Attribute Sheets, gages, Work
• Instructions, set up sheets etc.
• Perform daily paperwork requirements and fill out timecards accurately.
• Ability to identify defects and understand the level of quality that the customer demands. Report any machine problems to supervisor immediately.
• Maintain housekeeping for machine and area at the end of your shift or before moving to another operation.
• Performs daily maintenance on machines. (i.e.
  
  -coolant, lube levels, remove and replace chip containers properly, etc.)
• Efficiently keep machine running and production consistent.
• Quality Policy Awareness and compliance with the company's employee handbook policies and procedures.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Monday - Friday
1st shift: 7am-3pm
2nd shift: 3pm-11pm
3rd shift: 11pm-7am
