  Part-time, day shift

• Provide clinical nursing in the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).
• Assess patient care needs and plan the delivery of care.
• Process patients through the ASC.
• Direct other caregivers in providing patient care.
• Assume charge responsibilities and resolve problems.
• Develop educational materials and provide health education.
• Maintain nursing competencies.
• Participate in staff development programs.
• Identify self‑learning needs and evaluate goals.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, ASN, BSN program) required
• Experience: One year of clinical experience as an RN in a perioperative or critical care setting OR three years of experience as a Surgical Technician (may substitute for one year clinical RN experience)
• Licenses &

  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required within six months of hire
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required for those caring for pediatric population
