As a Quality Engineer, you'll apply hands-on problem-solving, data-driven analysis, and core quality methodologies to strengthen our processes, reduce defects, and support reliable production performance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working close to the operations, partnering with cross-functional teams, and shaping the systems and standards that keep our products and customers protected.
You'll work on-site at our facility in Twinsburg, OH and report to the Quality & Continuous Improvement Manager.
Your Responsibilities:- Define, coordinate implementation and monitor effectiveness of Quality Process Controls that assure product quality levels consistently meet the Design specifications and Customer expectations.
- Drive efforts to improve internal defects per unit (DPU), reduce scrap, and improve quality in the manufacturing operation.
- Develop and evaluate processes using capability studies, process control plans, analysis of out-of-control conditions, and process audits to improve performance and capability.
- Lead Kaizen events and other productivity and cost reduction initiatives to achieve plant targets.
- Use standard problem-solving techniques and tools to identify root cause and develop corrective actions. Utilize A3 methodology to determine root cause and develop / implement steps that resolve problems.
- Determine Root Cause and Action Plan for Quality findings from:
Process Audits, Outgoing Quality Audit and Customer Complaints using Problem Solving tools to prevent future occurrences - Define solutions with support from other departments using problem solving tools for the closure and prevention of customer complaints.
- Participate in Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) & Control Plans development.

- Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field

- You Might Also Have:
- Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering field of study.
- Advanced data analysis including knowledge of advanced Excel and Power BI capabilities.
- ISO documentation systems knowledge and experience.
- Familiarity with SAP.
