Full time

• Provides and coaches store staff to provide excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly and attentive manner.
• Greets customers, offers assistance, resolves issues, rings up sales, operates fuel console, lottery machines, money order machine, telecom transactions, and other equipment.
• Maintains the overall store facility’s condition and performs housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning machines and removing trash.
• Monitors product areas to ensure stocking, rotating and displaying fresh, appealing items.
• Ensures accurate sales transactions, correct pricing, and correct change.
• Maintains financial controls: keeps accurate records, transmits daily bookkeeping, invoicing, gasoline data, completes daily banking, and processes weekly payroll.
• Oversees staffing: supervises shift, assumes Store Manager when needed, schedules employees, trains staff, provides feedback, and assists with personnel counseling.
• Maintains security: reports incidents, unsafe conduct, and protects assets.
• Handles administrative duties: prepares periodic reports, attends meetings, controls merchandise and cash shortage, performs cash drawer counts and shift change reports.

• High school diploma or equivalent; 6 months to 1 year of retail and management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic business and customer service principles.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to resolve customer issues and work scheduled shifts.
• Ability to operate cash registers, scanners, beverage dispensers and other equipment.
• Physical ability to perform outlined duties.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Open availability and ability to work opposite shifts.

• Exposed to cold or warm temperatures; work in cooler/freezer and outdoors.
• Lifts up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead; up to 50 pounds from ground to waist.
• Manipulate objects with hands; push/pull up to 20 pounds.
• Reach overhead, bend, twist at waist, stand and walk whole shift.
• Operate cash register and computer keyboard.
• Work alone and exposed to occasional noise.
• Might climb ladder for materials.

• Mostly indoors; duties include cleaning parking lots, pumps, garbage disposal.
• Exposure to extreme cold temperatures and occasional noise.
• Minimum direction and periodic supervision.

Hiring Range: $17.00 to $21.00 per hour.
