Fluidraulics is seeking an
energetic, detail-oriented Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role serves as a key connection between our customers, sales team, suppliers, and internal operations. You will support the sales process, manage customer orders and supply chain requirements, respond to customer needs, and help identify opportunities to grow existing business.
The ideal candidate has at least2 years of experience in a similar role within automation, fluid power, pneumatics, hydraulics, or a related technical industry
. Strong communication, organization, customer service, and teamwork skills are essential, along with the ability to learn and communicate technical product information.
- Support the sales team with customer inquiries, order processing, order fulfillment, and expediting purchase orders.
- Manage customer supply chain requirements and coordinate with suppliers, shipping, receiving, and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Provide responsive, professional customer service by answering questions, resolving issues, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Process and track orders accurately using ERP and other business systems.
- Maintain accurate customer, lead, opportunity, and activity information within the CRM system.
- Support inside sales and business development efforts through outbound calling, lead follow-up, and telemarketing activities.
- Communicate product features, benefits, availability, and applications to customers based on their needs.
- Work closely with outside sales and business leaders to develop targeted customer outreach and business development strategies.
- Assist with identifying new sales opportunities and nurturing leads through the sales process.
- Collaborate effectively with teammates and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the sales and customer service team.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, order management, or a similar role.
- Experience in
automation, fluid power, pneumatics, hydraulics, or a related technical industry required. - Experience with ERP/order processing systems, including shipping, receiving, and warehouse processes.
- Experience using CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to understand and clearly communicate technical product information.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively in a small, team-oriented environment and take direction from business leaders.
- Strong customer service mindset with a positive, professional, and solutions-oriented approach.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
