Position

As a Security Officer - Hospital Perimeter Rounds in Twinsburg, OH
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to calls for assistance, support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service, and document observations.

As an unarmed patrol officer in a busy healthcare location, you will contribute to a safe environment by performing site-specific procedures, emergency response activities, and adherence to policies while remaining agile, reliable, and customer-focused.

Will Do
  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical facility access concerns, disturbances, and requests for support from hospital personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity, identify hazards, and report maintenance or environmental concerns.
  • Control access by monitoring entrances and restricted areas, checking credentials when required, and directing visitors to appropriate destinations in accordance with site policies.
  • Complete shift activity reports, incident documentation, and required logs, and communicate observations and/or concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements
  • Hospital site requires applicable vaccines.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
