OverviewThis position delivers products to stores on an established route or via dynamic dispatch to customers including convenience and gas stores, small supermarkets, drug stores, etc. The role involves around 15‑20 stops per day. Duties include driving the delivery vehicle, unloading products, stocking shelves, building displays, and handling daily cash settlement. The job is labor intensive, requiring lifting, pushing, and various body movements in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities- Deliver products, serve customers, and execute all promotions at multiple stores each day.
- Operate delivery trucks requiring an appropriate CDL license.
- Serve all scheduled customers by the end of the daily shift.
- Merchandise and rotate all accounts to local standards (e.g., fill shelves, build displays, maintain appearance, turn products, clean shelves, refill out‑of‑stock items, remove expired products).
- Push and pull pallet jacks, hand trucks, and breakdowns to move products to and from the truck.
- Establish positive working relationships with the primary contact at each account.
- Comply with operating procedures (e.g., scan‑in/scan‑out, follow the designated route).
- Serve customers with communication and rapport building.
- Follow DOT regulations.
- Maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Pass the required drug test and physical capabilities test.
- Valid U.S. CDL with Non‑Excepted Interstate Status (or Non‑Excepted Intrastate for most California locations; Stockton, CA requires Interstate status only).
- Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test.
- Follow DOT regulations.
- Operating trucks requiring a valid U.S. CDL license.
- Delivering products directly to stores (order entry, sale/distribution to store).
- Merchandising products (fill shelves, build displays, maintain appearance).
- Using handheld computers for data entry, transactions, and printing.
- Using equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and breakdowns.
- Working in a warehouse environment (product staging, forklifts).
Because this role involves regular field work and direct customer interaction, a conditional offer of employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a pre‑employment background check and drug screening.
