Project Manager - T&S-Level 4 - Lead

Position: Project Manager - T&S-Level 4 - Lead (15+ Years)
Description:
The Project Manager - T&S is responsible for all aspects of assigned projects from when the project receives budgetary approval until the project is placed in service and closed out.
The Project Manager T&S will lead the project team consisting of associated departments (Engineering, CRE, Siting & Permitting, Legal, Environmental, ISC, Business Services, External Affairs,TSE Construction,T&S Ops etc.) to exeute projects according to meet approved budgets and schedules.
Specifically, the PM is responsible for:
1) Safety Management;
2) Schedule Management;
3) Budget Management;
4) Project Management Planning;
5) Risk Managment;
6) Contract Administration ;
7) Project Reporting ;
8) Project Communications;
9) FERC Compliance Requirements;
10) Project Close Out;.

The PM T&S will act in the company's best interest in the managment of all assigned activities.

Education:
Bachelora s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field with Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.

Relevant Experience:
15 or more years of experience leading Transmission & Substation or related projects with high-level engineering and project management expertise.

Responsibilities:
Manages project execution from budgetary approval to completion for large, complex T&S major projects.
Lead project teams to meet approved budgets and schedules.
Collaborates with T&S Construction on construction schedule, clearance planning, and execution; provides monthly budget forecast spend reports; production and submittal of FERC compliance documentation; and support final job close out.

Other:
Works directly with T&S major project leadership to resolve project challenges.

Additional Job Details Position Specific Description
Successful candidate has demonstrated the ability to manage and a lead a project from conception to close out and align with best industry performance. Additionally, understanding and previous high performance in FPL's/NEE's organizations (such as PGD, Wind, etc.) to bring independent key perspectives to the nuclear organization is a plus. Experience in P-6, NEO and strong excel skills are desired. Position will require travel to the other nuclear sites periodically to support outages or planned projects.

Strong communication (verbal and written) is highly preferred.
