Project Manager - T&S
The Project Manager - T&S is responsible for all aspects of assigned projects from when the project receives budgetary approval until the project is placed in service and closed out. The Project Manager T&S will lead the project team consisting of associated departments (Engineering, CRE, Siting & Permitting, Legal, Environmental, ISC, Business Services, External Affairs,TSE Construction,T&S Ops etc.) to execute projects according to meet approved budgets and schedules.
Specifically, the PM is responsible for:
Safety Management;
Schedule Management;
Budget Management;
Project Management Planning;
Risk Management;
Contract Administration;
Project Reporting;
Project Communications; FERC Compliance Requirements;
Project Close Out. The PM T&S will act in the company's best interest in the management of all assigned activities.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field with Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
Relevant
Experience:
15 or more years of experience leading Transmission & Substation or related projects with high-level engineering and project management expertise.
Responsibilities:
Manages project execution from budgetary approval to completion for large, complex T&S major projects. Lead project teams to meet approved budgets and schedules. Collaborates with T&S Construction on construction schedule, clearance planning, and execution; provides monthly budget forecast spend reports; production and submittal of FERC compliance documentation; and support final job close out.
Other:
Works directly with T&S major project leadership to resolve project challenges.

Individuals maintain project momentum, surface problems and recommendations, report completion status, and control costs to budget.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead projects to ensure completion by schedule date
- Creates plans, cost analysis, schedules, estimations, and reports to communicate project deliverables and status of completion
- Coordinates engineering, construction and other functional resources to complete project objectives
- Lead and coaches schedulers, cost engineers and estimators regarding project significance
- Manages all related project controls and systems to support project development tasks
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
