Description
A Seasonal Worker will engage and assist in various production methods and departments during the manufacturing process of products and/or product components. Great job for college/high school students looking for seasonal/summer work!
Job Shift: 1stJob Duties
- Cleaning and inspection of finished products
- Utilization of simple mechanical or pneumatic hand tools (where applicable)
- Assisting in the transportation of product/s through the production process
- Sanding wood-based or wood edged products in preparation for staining/finishing
- Sanding and finishing of Corian or other solid surface based product
- Participate in general cleaning and housekeeping duties within manufacturing facility premises
- Follow proper quality assurance measures and processes as set forth by Shoto Corporation
- Follow proper safety procedures and regulations
- Other duties as required
- Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs. or more. Lesser amounts more frequently
- Standing is required for most of the day including frequent turning, bending, crouching and twisting as required
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time
- Ability to work as part of a team, or independently as required without direct supervision
- Able to work briskly and steadily in an efficient manner
