Platform Business Analyst (SQL/API/SSO)

Salary Range: $78,000 - $115,000

• If you live within 50 miles of the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, you may work hybrid (office 60% of the work week, home 40%).
• If you live more than 50 miles from those offices, you may work remote from your home within the continental United States. Remote employees may be requested to come to the office for business needs as needed.

• Advanced customization and extension of platform
• Workflow and process automation within the platform
• Integration with external systems, APIs, and SSO
• Performance tuning for specific platforms
• Utilization of advanced modules or extensions

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Two or more years of experience in release practices and/or related environments
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable

• Monitor performance, resolve problems, and manage component capacity issues
• Design, test, develop, configure, and maintain integrations to platform applications
• Adhere to the platform’s security and coding standards for resilience, data, and security
• Review business requirements to deploy the best solution, including configuring, coding, and debugging
• Work closely with cross‑functional departments to communicate status and technical proposals
• Deploy and configure platform applications tailored to company needs
• Design technical solutions, configure/customize, test, and maintain platform applications to meet company requirements
• Perform other duties as required
