Overview
High school diploma or equivalent is required and three (3) years of accounting experience or equivalent education. Person must be proficient in computers.
Responsibilities- Responsible for all aspects of accounts payable for multiple companies.
- Verify assigned payables agree with the authorization for expenditure, cost code and enter data into computer.
- Enter journal entries into computer.
- Responsible for generation of hand checks, machine checks and distribution of checks.
- Make bank deposits and run errands for the Business Office.
- File accounts payable vouchers and miscellaneous items.
- Must be computer proficient in Excel. Ability to review work for accuracy, to accurately perform detailed numerical and exhibit ability to work cooperatively with all levels of Center staff and management.
