A local facility located in Tyler, TX is seeking to hire an experienced Accountant.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8am-5pm.
Pay: $23-$26 per hour.
EssentialJob Duties
- Assist with monthly and annual closing process
- Reviewing and processing on-line banking information, including receipts, payments and balance amounts
- Work with credit card processing requests
- Respond to financial inquiries from user departments and help resolve problems
- Prepare journal entries and review, edit and update entries from other departments
- Monitor and update grant information
- Monitor and update refund requests
- Monitor and update property tax collections
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining monthly budget forecasts for all departments
- Assist with purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoice processing and cost accounting
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required plus at least one (1) year experience in an accounting office performing similar job duties
