Audit Supervisor

Audit Supervisor, Tyler, TX

GMP Advisors is seeking an Audit Supervisor to lead client engagements across diverse industries such as Oil & Gas, Construction, Government, and more. The role focuses on managing relationships, supervising and developing engagement teams, and delivering high-quality audit work.

• Lead engagement teams to maintain accuracy and timeliness across all audit engagements.
• Review junior staff work and prepare complex sections of engagement files; set team culture and mentor members in career development.
• Deliver quality client service aligned with GMP values, building client loyalty and ensuring positive client and team experiences.
• Utilize CCH Axcess, CCH Engagement, Data Snipper, and other tools to manage workflow, documentation, and audit evidence, focusing on solutions and creative problem solving.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Active CPA license or actively pursuing licensure and eligible to sit.
• 4+ years of increasing responsibility in public accounting, focused on audit.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Applied knowledge of U.S. GAAP and U.S. GAAS.
• Experience with Oil & Gas, Government/Single Audit, and/or Construction engagements.
• Familiarity with CCH Axcess and/or CCH Engagement.
• Experience with Data Snipper or similar audit analytics tools.
