  • UT Health Tyler is the flagship hospital of the system serving hundreds of thousands annually. Specializing in advanced acute care medicine, our midtown location boasts a Level 1 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, the region’s only EMCO program and a Level III NICU. Our medical staff includes more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Responsibilities

As an Administrative Assistant within our Administration team, you’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to‑day effectiveness of healthcare system leadership. This is a great opportunity for an organized, professional, and motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and is looking to grow their career within healthcare administration.

  • Provide administrative support to members of the healthcare system’s leadership team, helping manage priorities and maintain an efficient executive office.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and other materials by gathering and organizing information to support leadership decision‑making.
  • Communicate professionally with internal and external customers while serving as a trusted representative of the Administration team.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with a high level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment.
  • Maintain organized and accurate files, records, reports, and correspondence to support efficient day‑to‑day operations.
  • Utilize technology and office systems to manage information, documentation, and communications.
  • Assist with maintaining required documentation and supporting compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work independently, prioritize competing needs, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.
Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Three (3) or more years of secretarial or administrative experience with progressive responsibility.
