Office Administrator/ Coordinator
The Student Assistant position provides administrative and operational support to the Women's Basketball program, including front office coverage, assisting coaches and staff, supporting recruiting efforts, maintaining organized facilities, and completing assigned team and office responsibilities.
* Student Assistant positions are subject to a maximum of 18 hours per week.
- Provide front office coverage, including answering phones and greeting visitors, recruits, and callers in a courteous, professional, and welcoming manner.
- Respond to basic inquiries and direct callers, recruits, and visitors to the appropriate staff member, department, or resource.
- Accurately take and relay messages as needed.
- Provide administrative and operational support to coaches and staff.
- Monitor and respond to work-related emails and assist with department email account management as assigned.
- Deliver documents and materials to other campus offices as needed.
- Assist with laundry services and other team management responsibilities as directed by the Women's Basketball staff.
- Support general office operations, including maintaining spreadsheets, preparing reports, gathering and organizing data, filing, copying, scanning, and other administrative tasks.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of dressing rooms, supply rooms, and other team areas.
- Assist with the distribution of recruiting correspondence, mailings, and newsletters.
- Support the department's social media efforts by creating and posting content updates as assigned.
- Capture photographs and video during practices and team activities.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned to support the efficient operation of a fast-paced Women's Basketball program.

Work Environment:Work may be required outside of normal business hours and is primarily conducted in an indoor setting.

If travel is required, the candidate must have and maintain a current, valid Texas driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
Students must be registered for undergraduate classes and maintain enrollment status to work in these positions. Students may qualify for Federal Work Study, which will be determined by the Office of Financial Aid.
Additional Job-Specific Requirements
Students are allowed to work a maximum of eighteen (18) hours per week and cannot work in multiple hourly positions. A work week is Monday-Sunday.
