Used Car Technician – Peltier Subaru

Peltier Subaru is looking for a dependable and experienced

Used Car Technician to join our team! This position plays an important role in making sure our pre-owned vehicles are inspected, serviced, repaired, and ready to provide our customers with a safe and reliable driving experience.

• Perform thorough inspections on pre-owned vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and safety-related concerns.
• Complete necessary repairs and maintenance to prepare vehicles for the lot.
• Perform oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, fluid services, battery replacements, and other general automotive repairs.
• Identify additional repairs or maintenance needed during inspections.
• Work efficiently to help maintain a quick turnaround time on used vehicle inventory.
• Document inspections, repairs, and recommended work accurately.
• Communicate with management regarding vehicle condition and repair needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow dealership and manufacturer safety procedures.
• Help ensure every pre-owned vehicle meets Peltier Subaru’s standards before being offered to customers.

• Previous automotive technician or mechanical experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to properly operate automotive tools and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
