We are seeking a dedicated
Wastewater General Laborer /Public Works
team members. This role involves performing manual labor, operating heavy equipment, and assisting with water treatment processes to ensure environmental compliance and efficient public service. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and a strong work ethic to contribute to the reliable delivery of essential water and sanitation services.

Full Time

Day Shift $14.25-$15.25

Weekly Pay

Responsibilities
  • Perform general labor tasks including shoveling, lifting, digging, and hauling materials.
  • Support installation, repair, and maintenance of sewer lines, pumps, and related infrastructure.
  • Operate heavy machinery such as loaders, backhoes, and tanker trucks safely and efficiently for construction or maintenance projects.
  • Conduct data collection activities related to water treatment processes and equipment performance.
  • Assist with emergency repairs, spills, or system backups as needed.
  • Assist in construction projects involving public works infrastructure, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks required for facility upkeep or infrastructure improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repairs, and operational data
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in wastewater treatment operations, public works, or construction is preferred.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively.
  • Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and data analysis.
  • Strong analysis skills to identify issues with equipment or processes.
  • Knowledge of plumbing systems and routine maintenance procedures.
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform manual labor tasks consistently.
