Bilingual Teller​/Onsite

Position Summary

We are hiring a Bilingual Teller (Branch Services) at our Grande Branch Office in Tyler, Texas. The role involves providing exceptional member service in English and Spanish, supporting member transactions, cross‑selling products, and ensuring accurate, compliant banking operations.

• Deliver an exceptional member experience by engaging with members, understanding their needs, and providing personalized, effective solutions.
• Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail in all transactions, minimizing errors and ensuring compliance with banking standards.
• Identify member needs and offer appropriate products and services, aiming to cross‑sell with at least 165 members and 50 cross‑sell or internal referrals by 12/31/2026.
• Assist in growing the credit union by increasing membership, loans, and deposits, while contributing to net income.
• Achieve performance metrics: 52+ 4‑star or greater online reviews with name mentioned by 12/31/2026 and no more than two error indications per year.

• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
• Prior call center or teller/customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, self‑starter attitude, and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Understanding of creditworthiness assessment and basic banking concepts (debit/credit cards, loans, checking/savings accounts).
• High school graduate or GED.
• Minimum six (6) months of relevant cash or customer service and sales transaction experience.

• Competitive hourly rate of $15 per hour plus bilingual stipend, paid bi‑weekly.

On‑site at Tyler, Texas Grande Branch Office. Monday–Friday, 8 AM–6 PM with flexibility between 7:45 AM and 7 PM for training or meetings. Occasional Saturdays required as business needs dictate.
