Pathology Physician Locums Job in Texas Starting March 2026 + Ongoing

This opportunity offers excellent support and flexibility for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Surgical Pathologist seeking locum tenens coverage starting April 2026. Job Requirements for Assignment:
Texas medical license (or active IMLC) required
Board Certification or Board Eligibility within five years
Starts April 2026 and will be ongoing through the end of the year at minimum
Surgical Pathologist needed
This lab supports a larger Texas metro area and will be looking at candidates with any availability
PA Support available for grossing, Pathologists cut their own frozens
MD Support up to 7 pathologists available
500+ bed facility
Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
25-30 cases per day depending on the complexity (about 75% simple / 25% complex)
EPIC EMR
Upcoming retirement forcing the hospital to hire a locums pathologist
Will be required to obtain hospital privileges at the main site and two sister hospitals to occasionally read their slides
GI biopsies, GYN benign/malignant, head/neck, lung, colon, GU
