Faculty Anesthesiologist needed to join the academic program at UT Tyler School of Medicine. The position is practiced in UT Health East Texas facilities in Tyler, Texas, including a Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center.
About the Position- 42 weeks of service and 10 weeks off
- Cases:
Trauma, Endo, General Surgery, Vascular, ENT, OBGYN, Neuro, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Podiatry - In‑house 24‑hour call: 1:12 shift
- Post‑call day off
- 9–11 physicians per day
- Teaching responsibilities may include service participation with Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine, and Family Medicine residents
- Base salary plus wRVU production incentive
- Potential eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness program
- CME allowance

Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center.
Licensed Beds: 432 Beds.
Operating Rooms: 12 rooms, including 2 Da Vinci Xi, 2 cystoscopy rooms.
Cardiovascular OR: 2 rooms.
3 Cath Labs, 3 EP Labs, including hybrid OR.
ICU: 78 Beds.
Labor and Delivery: 14 Beds with 20 step‑down beds.
NICU: 9 NICU beds and 7 step‑down beds.
