• Coverage of one Level III hospital and an outreach clinic alongside a pediatric surgeon.
• Mix of pre‑scheduled surgeries and call coverage.
• Outpatient cases performed at a nearby ambulatory surgery center.
• 24/7 pediatric hospitalist coverage and three board‑certified pediatric anesthesiologists on‑site.
• Assist in all types of pediatric surgical cases; participate in rounding and discharging hospital patients.

Tyler, TX, is approximately 100 miles southeast of Dallas and serves as the economic, educational, financial, medical, and cultural hub of Smith County. • Current certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Minimum of a master’s degree.
• Previous experience in pediatric surgery settings required.
