UT Tyler School of Medicine and UT Health East Texas are seeking a full-time BC/BE Gynecologic Oncologist to join our growing academic and clinical team in Tyler, Texas
, located just 92 miles east of Dallas. This is a unique opportunity to help expand comprehensive women's cancer care across East Texas while contributing to resident education, research, and program development.
- Faculty appointment within the medical school with active involvement in resident education.
- Access to advanced surgical technology, including the da Vinci robotic surgical system.
- Opportunities for research collaboration through GOG and MD Anderson clinical trials.
- Balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
- Typical schedule includes 2 to 3 days in outpatient clinic and 2 to 3 days in the OR, with the opportunity to oversee the chemotherapy clinic.
- Comprehensive support staff, including multiple Advanced Practice Providers dedicated to oncology services.
- Partner with supporting specialists including OB/GYN Faculty, OB/GYN Hospitalists, Medical Oncologists, and Urogynecologists.
- Join an established women's health network spanning 9 hospitals, 14 OB/GYNs, and 6 Women's Health APPs, offering a strong referral base across East Texas.
- Opportunity to help develop and grow a comprehensive Gynecologic Oncology program within an expanding academic health system.
