Position Overview
Faculty position at the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine within UT Health East Texas Division of Infectious Disease. Seeking an Infectious Disease physician to join an established clinical faculty in Tyler, Texas.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as Medical Director for the Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy program.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient infectious disease care.
- Schedule:
Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; 1:6 call ratio; 14–16 daily encounters.
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease.
- Open to U.S. citizens, Permanent Residents, and O‑1 visa candidates.
Our providers use Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding for better work-life balance and revenue.
