Faculty position employed by the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine, practicing in UT Health East Texas facilities.

UT Tyler School of Medicine is seeking a skilled Urology Physician with robotics experience to join our team in Athens, Texas. This full-time position provides a balance of outpatient and inpatient care, offering the opportunity to practice advanced robotic‑assisted urologic procedures while managing a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will be committed to high‑quality, patient‑centered care and have experience with robotic surgery.

• Board‑certified/board‑eligible in Urology.
• Robotics experience required (Da Vinci Robotic platform preferred).

• Patient Load: 20‑25 patients per day (outpatient & inpatient combined)
• Surgical Volume: 1‑5 surgical patients per week (robotic and non‑robotic cases)
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
• Call

  10 days per month and 1 weekend
