Board‑Certified Psychiatrist – Faculty Consult Liaison
UT Tyler Health Science Center is searching for a Board‑Certified Psychiatrist to join the UT Health’s Behavioral Health team in the Faculty Consult Liaison role.
Responsibilities- Monday dedicated to the Subacute Residential Psychiatric Unit;
Tuesday–Friday focused on the Inpatient Consult‑Liaison Service - Faculty appointment with opportunities to teach psychiatry residents and medical students
- Work alongside two psychiatry residents
- Provide inpatient psychiatric consultations in the Emergency Department and on the general medical floors
- Treat a diverse acute behavioral health population, including patients with substance use disorders and psychotic disorders
- Occasional short‑term coverage in other clinical areas as needed
- Consult‑Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship preferred, but not required
- CME allowance
