This is a full-time, on-site Elementary School Teacher role based in Tyler, TX. The Elementary School Teacher will plan, prepare, and deliver standards-aligned lessons that support diverse learning styles and meet district and state curriculum requirements. Responsibilities include creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment, managing classroom behavior, assessing student progress, and providing timely feedback to students and families. The teacher will collaborate with grade-level teams, support staff, and administrators to implement campus improvement plans and instructional best practices.
Additional duties include maintaining accurate records, participating in professional learning, communicating regularly with caregivers and guardians, and supervising students during school-related activities.
- Proficiency in Elementary Education and Education practices, with a strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate instruction.
- Demonstrated Teaching experience in K–5 or K–6 settings, with the ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
- Skills in Curriculum Development, including designing standards-based units and lessons that align with district and state requirements.
- Strong Communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, engaging families, and supporting students’ academic and social-emotional growth.
- Valid state teaching certification in Elementary Education (or eligibility to obtain certification within a defined timeframe).
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; advanced degree in Education or a specialized teaching area is a plus.
- Experience working with multilingual learners, students receiving special education services, and students from diverse backgrounds preferred.
