Step into a pivotal role for the  academic year, supporting students' success as an Educational Diagnostician in a Texas school district. This W-2 contract position is ideal for professionals passionate about fostering educational growth and advocating for students' diverse needs. The role centers on providing both direct and indirect assessment and intervention services for learners in-person, ensuring access to tailored support throughout the school year.

Desired Qualifications &

Experience:
  • Valid Texas Educational Diagnostician certification or eligibility for certification
  • Proven experience in the administration and interpretation of educational and cognitive assessments
  • Strong knowledge of special education regulations and the ARD/IEP process
  • Ability to develop actionable, individualized educational recommendations for students
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working collaboratively with students, staff, and families
  • Organized approach to managing caseloads, timelines, and documentation
  • Familiarity with data collection, analysis, and reporting for student progress
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations to identify learning needs and inform interventions
  • Participate actively in ARD meetings, offering expert input for student IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, related professionals, and families to support student achievement
  • Maintain thorough, timely records of assessments, interventions, and recommendations
  • Provide consultative services to educators and school teams regarding instructional strategies
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal education laws and guidelines
