Job SummarySeeking Assistant or Associate Professor in Accounting, tenure track, to teach a variety of face-to-face, hybrid, and online accounting courses. Service responsibilities are also expected including service to the department, college, and university. Ability to bridge relationships between students and the community is preferable. Start date is September 1, 2027. Key Responsibilities- Teaching accounting courses face to face, hybrid, and online.
- Carry out a program of research.
- Collaborate with faculty, students, and business practitioners.
- Maintain regular on-campus presence.
- Attend departmental meetings.
- PhD or DBA in Accounting from an AACSB-accredited program.
- Candidates with teaching and research experience in financial accounting and/or auditing are preferred. Candidates with a current certification (CPA, CMA) are also preferred.

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length. This position has the option to elect the Optional Retirement Program (ORP) instead of TRS, subject to the position being 40 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
