The department of population health leadership & analytics islooking for one tenure-track faculty member (atthe rank of Assistant or Associate Professor) for the undergraduate program. This faculty will teach Undergraduate Students primarilyand depending on expertise, may teach courses across the twograduate programs (MHA and MPH). This faculty appointment is basedon a 9-month schedule. The position is actively involved in scholarship/publications, seeking extramurally funding,multidisciplinary research, and projects.

The faculty member willteach classes, provide service, mentor students, and activelyrecruit program applicants. The faculty position will be hiredbased on open rank (Assistant or Associate Professor) based on education and experience. The successful candidate will have expertise in one or more of the following areas: epidemiology, population health, rural health,community health assessment, and behavioralhealth. Preference will be given to candidateswhose research and teaching align with these domains (epidemiology,population health, and rural health).

• Provides teaching and education to students, trainees, staff,and other participants in public health educational programs through lectures, didactics, and supervision in practicumsettings.
• Mentors and advises students and serves as faculty for internship/practicum and capstone experiences.
• Serves as subject matter expert on a variety of research studies.
• Provides expert support to collaborators and mentoring juniorinvestigators in research methods.
• Develops an independent and collaborative research program.
• Participates in committee functions as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular on-campus presence.
• Attend departmental meetings.

• An earned doctorate in public health or related discipline.
• Associate-rank candidates must demonstrate a well-developedresearch portfolio, evidenced by previous funding and publications.
• Assistant-rank candidates must demonstrate a robust research pipeline with publication potential.

• Experience in a healthcare delivery setting, orpopulation/public health practice setting.
• Should have experience teaching online.

• Ability to plan and organize work.
• Excellent skills with people.
• Ability to achieve a common goal.
• Ability to lead a project timely and efficiently.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
